About Us 

Who Are We: No Better Love Than Food (NBL) is a 501c nationally recognized non-profit organization. We were founded in December, 2022, with the premise that food brings people together and is an expression of friendship and trust. We dedicate ourselves to fighting food insecurity in our local communities through homemade baked good drives to food pantries, raising awareness, and offering opportunities for individuals and organizations to get involved and make a difference. Our team consists of passionate volunteers, generous donors, and community leaders who work together to make a tangible impact in the lives of those in need. Regardless of background, food is something that connects us all and can be used to unite communities to foster a future where no one is hungry. 

Our Mission Statement: We want to foster love and understanding by sharing language, culture, and food. The name No Better Love than Food is based on a quotation from Bernard Shaw's play Man and Superman, "There is no sincerer love than the love of food." Starting in the classrooms at Wellesley High School, the members of NBL hope to foster dialogue between cultures and countries through meals and other shared experiences.
